Motion Mensura began in April, 2005, in Sydney and Newcastle, Australia. Originally it began by developing tracking software for rodents in laboratories, but has since expanded into design and building test apparatus, as well as prototyping a new kind of olfactometer and an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle project for high resolution image mapping.

We have clients in some of the major universities in Australia and are currently preparing to expand our business through the world wide web.

Motion Mensura is run by a partnership through Paul Halasz and Robert Dielenberg who together represent nearly 50 years of experience in neuroscience research. Our main aim is to have fun while developing cutting edge experimental solutions for researchers interested in ‘thinking outside the box.’

Paul has 30 years of experience in software

design and peripherals interfacing.

Rob has 15 years experience in behavioural

science and systems integration.
